RasterNest (rasternest.com) is a free auto nesting tool for DTF printing. We take your privacy seriously and want you to understand exactly what data we collect, what we don't, and how we handle your files.

What We Collect

• Email address — used for account login, email verification, and sending nesting results.
• Password — stored as a one-way hash (bcrypt). We never see or store your actual password.
• Usage logs — we track how many nestings you run per day (for enforcing the daily limit). These logs contain a timestamp and action type, nothing about your designs.
• Preferences — dark mode setting, language, film price per meter, currency symbol.

What We Do NOT Collect or Store

• Your uploaded images are never stored. Files are held in temporary memory only during processing. Once nesting completes, input files are deleted immediately from our servers.
• Nesting output files are kept for 24 hours so you can download them, then permanently deleted.
• We do not analyze, view, copy, or share your designs in any way.

Cookies & Local Storage

• Session cookie — used to keep you logged in. Essential for the app to function.
• localStorage — stores your theme preference (light/dark) and whether you've dismissed the tips bar. No tracking involved.

Third-Party Services

• Resend — we use Resend to deliver emails (verification, password reset, nesting results). Your email address is shared with Resend for this purpose only. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense — ads may appear on the landing page and dashboard (never on the nesting workspace). Google may use cookies for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

• Account data (email, preferences) — kept until you delete your account.
• Usage logs — kept indefinitely for aggregate analytics (e.g., total nestings counter).
• Uploaded files — deleted immediately after processing.
• Output files — deleted after 24 hours.

Your Rights

• You can delete your account at any time from the Account settings page. This permanently removes your email, password hash, preferences, usage logs, and all associated data.
• You can export your data by contacting us at the email below.
